After came back from USA, Daraka started out in her first permanent job as a Medical Representative with Bristol Myers Squibb in 1984. Daraka married her long time university friend, Mr. Pravit Thanapirom in 18 August 1985. The year after that their proud son, Mr. Chayut Thanapirom, nicknamed Champ was born. Champ is currently doing his first year PHD study at the Berkley University in USA. Daraka joined the Company on February 18, 1987. She then steadily worked her way up through the ranks to become Managing Director of IDS Manufacturing which was her last position before her sudden departure on October 17, 2009.
